Seven FCS schools raked in 2.375 million dollars over the weekend against FBS opponents and added insult by winning those games.

There are very few things sweeter than getting guaranteed money and winning in the process.

The two biggest surprises were Eastern Washington's win over #25 Oregon State and two time defending FCS champion North Dakota State beating Kansas State.  The EWU win was only the third time an FCS school has beaten a ranked FBS team.

McNeese State spoiled the debut of new South Florida coach Willie Taggart by scoring the most points by an FCS school against an FBS opponent, 53-21.  The Cowboys will cash a $400,000 check in addtion to notching the win.

Iowa State, San Diego State, Connecticut and South Alabama were the other full FBS schools to suffer losses.  Georgia State is playing in an FBS conference but is a provisional FBS member this year.
