Johnny Cueto pitched a complete-game two-hitter on Wednesday night, as the Kansas City Royals defeated the New York Mets, 7-1, in game two of the 2015 Major League Baseball World Series at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Trailing 1-0 going into the bottom half of the fifth inning, the Royals scored four runs in the bottom of the frame off of Mets starter Jacob de Grom, and then three more runs in the bottom of the eighth, to secure the victory.

Cueto went the distance to record the win, allowing only two hits and one run, while striking out four.

At the plate, Alcides Escobar, Eric Hosmer, and Mike Moustakas collected two hits apiece in a 10-hit Kansas City attack, with Escobar and Hosmer each driving in two runs.
