The final nine college football bowl games, prior to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, which is scheduled for January 11, will take place this weekend, with 5 games on tap for Friday, with 4 more slated for Saturday.

Action begins at 11 am (central time) on Friday, with the Outback Bowl, featuring the Tennessee Volunteers (8-4) and the Northwestern Wildcats (10-2).

Two games will kickoff at noon, including the Michigan Wolverines (9-3) and the Florida Gators (10-3) in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (10-2) and the Ohio St. Buckeyes (11-1) in the Battlefrog Fiesta Bowl.

The Stanford Cardinal (11-2) will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes (11-1) in the Rose Bowl, which is set for 4 o'clock.

The final game on Friday will be the Allstate Sugar Bowl, at the Mercedes-Bens Superdome in New Orleans, where the Oklahoma St. Cowboys (10-2) will square off with the Ole Miss Rebels (9-3).

On Saturday, action begins at 11 am with the Taxslayer Bowl, featuring the Penn St. Nittany Lions (7-5) and the Georgia Bulldogs (9-3).

At 2:20 pm it'll be the AutoZone Liberty, in which the Kansas St. Wildcats (6-6) will face the Arkansas Razorbacks (7-5).

The Valero Alamo Bowl, featuring the Oregon Ducks (9-3) and the TCU Horned Frogs (10-2) will get underway at 5:45 pm.

And finally, at 9:15 pm, the West Virginia Mountaineers (7-5) will meet the Arizona St. Sun Devils (6-6) in the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl.
