Monday, December 26 will feature three bowl games, with action beginning at 10 am.

Five teams will be playing for winning records, as none of the six teams currently have a winning record, with one with a losing record.

St. Petersburg Bowl---St. Petersburg, Florida---Miami (Ohio) vs. Mississippi St.---10 am---ESPN

This is a real interesting match-up, as the Miami RedHawks have an opportunity at a winning record.

Why is that such a big deal? Because they began the year losing their first six games.

That's right, Miami went 0-6 in their first six games, before winning six-straight to end the regular season.

Mississippi St. also ended their season strong, despite finishing 5-7, winning three of their last five games, including a 55-20 win over arch-rival Ole Miss in their regular season finale.

Quick Lane Bowl---Detroit, Michigan---Maryland vs. Boston College---1:30 pm---ESPN

Both the Terrapins and the Eagles finished the regular season

Maryland began the year strong, winning their first four, and five of their first seven, but lost four of their last five.

Boston College captured key wins in their last two games, defeating Connecticut and Wake Forest, to become bowl-eligible.

Camping World Independence Bowl---Shreveport, Louisiana---North Carolina St. vs. Vanderbilt---4 pm---ESPN2

Both teams are 6-6, and will be playing for a winning record.

North Carolina St. stumbled down the stretch, losing five of their last seven, while Vanderbilt finished strong, defeating Ole Miss and Tennessee in their final two games.

This will mark the third all-time meeting between the two schools.
