Billy Ryckman

I'm one of only a handful of football players to be born and raised in Lafayette that got the chance to play in the NFL. Certainly I was one of the first to do so. I played high school ball for the Lafayette High Mighty Lions as a small but slow WR. After high school I attended Louisiana Tech and then went on to the NFL. I was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons where I played for in the late '70s tills the early '80s. I moved back to Lafayette to raise two kids

I am a lifelong resident of the Acadiana area, attending Northside High School and the University of Louisiana (formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana.), before beginning my career in the radio industry back in 1990. I've hosted the popular morning show, "Thinking Out Loud", for eleven years. As part of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Radio Network, I do sideline coverage duties for UL football, along with part-time play-by-play duties for UL men's basketball and baseball

Brandon Comeaux

I've lived in the Carencro/Lafayette area all my life. From the food, to the people, to the area sports teams, no matter where I visit, this area is my home and I love it. As a news reporter at Newstalk 96.5 FM KPEL , I really enjoy being able to keep our listeners informed on the news of the day, whether it’s local, state or national. I’m also the current (and interim) co-host of “Your Afternoon Drive Home” from 5-6 pm Monday – Fridays

I'm a native New Englander, but I've lived in South Louisiana all my adult life. I don't know if that makes me THE authority on sports in Acadiana, but I've certainly seen my share. I've hosted the show "Bird's Eye View" on ESPN1420 since 1998. From 2-4 pm, your phone calls and opinions are always welcome. For over 30 years, I’ve covered sports for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, including play by play of Ragin' Cajuns football, men's basketball and baseball

Scott Prather

I’ve been with ESPN1420 for over eight years. In addition to hosting the Great S.C.O.T.T. show every weekday from 5-6 and the Sports Gap from 4-5, I serve as the brand manager and program director. While sports is my passion, I always try to remember why I got into this business. Sports is fun. Sometimes it’s serious, sometimes it’s lighthearted, but if you’re not having fun working in sports, then you’re doing something wrong. I have on many guests, ranging from professional athletes such as Thomas Morstead, Roman Harper, Charles Tillman, Tyson Chandler and Anthony Davis, to Saints and Pelicans correspondent Gus Kattengell, as well as local sports radio personalities and journalists
