Tuesday, December 27 will feature four bowl games, with action beginning at 11 am.

Two teams will be playing for winning records, and one ranked team will be looking to their season with a triumph.

Heart of Dallas Bowl---Army vs. North Texas---Dallas, Texas---11 am---ESPN

You don't find many rematches in bowl games, but this is one, with North Texas defeating Army, 35-18, earlier this season.

Army finished the regular season at 7-5, with key wins over Temple, Wake Forest, and Navy, while North Texas got into a bowl despite their 5-7 record, thanks to their academic performance rate.

Army has won two-straight, while North Texas lost 4 of their last 5, following that win over the Black Knights in the first meeting.

Both teams rely on a solid ground game and sound defenses, so this could be a low-scoring affair.

Military Bowl---Temple vs. Wake Forest---Annapolis, Maryland---2:30 pm---ESPN

24th-ranked Temple, who will enter at 10-3, finished their regular season strong, winning 7-straight, and 9 of their last 10, while Wake Forest, who is currently 6-6, finished in the opposite direction, losing 3-straight, and 5 of their last 6.

The Owls, have two running backs, Jyhad Thomas and Ryquell Armstead, who have both rushed for 918 yards.

Holiday Bowl---Minnesota vs. Washington St.---San Diego, California---6 pm---ESPN

Both teams will enter with identical 8-4 records, but it looks to be a contrast in styles, as Minnesota likes to run the ball, while Washington St. likes to throw it.

The Golden Gophers are paced by running back Rodney Smith, who has rushed for 1,084 yards, while quarterback Luke Falk leads the Cougars, after throwing for 4,204 yards and 37 touchdowns during the regular season.

We'll see how well Minnesota is prepared to play, mentally, after earlier threatening to boycott the game because of the suspension of 10 of its players accused of sexual assault.

Cactus Bowl---Boise St. vs. Baylor---Phoenix, Arizona---9:15 pm---ESPN

Boise St., who will enter at 10-2, lost their two games by a total of 9 points, falling to Wyoming by two points, and to Air Force by 7.

The Broncos can throw it, with quarterback Brett Rypien throwing for 3,341 yards and 23 touchdowns, or run it, with Jeremy McNichols rushing for 1,663 yards and 23 scores.

Baylor, who is 6-6, limped to the finish line, losing their final 6 games.

The Bears haven't won since October 15, when they beat Kansas, 49-7.
