The New Orleans Hornets lost their 4th straight Friday night after falling on the road to the Denver Nuggets by the score of 110-97. Hornet power forward Lance Thomas led the fleur-de-bees in scoring with a career-high 18.

Jarret Jack (pictured left) added 17 points, while Xavier Henry and Marco Belinelli had 12 apiece for New Orleans.

Denver dictated tempo for most of the game. Their fast-paced style, coupled with their athleticism, gave the Hornets fits. New Orleans finished with only 6 fast break points compared to the Nuggets 20.

The Hornets finish their 4 game road trip tonight in Minneapolis. Tip-off versus the Minnesota Timberwolves is set for 7:00.
