Golfer Bubba Watson Buys The General Lee From “The Dukes Of Hazzrd”

Professional golfer Bubba Watson, curently ranked number 21 in the world, has purchased the General Lee car from the television series "The Dukes of Hazzard", which ran on CBS, from 1979-1985.

Watson bought the car for $110,00 at Barrett-Jackson automobile auction this past weekend, and calls it his "dream car".

This specific car was not the only General Lee, as many were were used, but it is the one that jumped the police car in the opening credits of the show.

"Lee 1" as it is known, was totaled in the jump, but was restored, over a 16-month period.
