Bubba Watson Takes Out Frustration On Caddie At Travelers Championship- VIDEO

This is video of Bubba Watson taking out some frustration on his caddie, Ted Scott, after seeing a two-shot lead slip away, with only three holes to play, in the final round of the Travelers Championship on Sunday.

Teeing off on the 16th hole, with a two-stroke lead, Watson hit his shot in the water, prompting him to turn to Scott and say; “Water. It’s in the water. That club. Yes, the water.”

After overshooting the green with his next shot, Watson said to Scott; “So you’re telling me that’s the right yardage?”

Watson would go on to shoot a triple-bogey six on the hole, putting him two strokes behind the leaders, and ultimately out of a playoff.

Ken Duke won the tournament, in a two-hole playoff Chris Stroud, to secure his first-ever PGA Tour win.

There was good news for Watson, the 2012 Master winners, as his fourth place finish marked only his second top-five finish of the year.

The video certainly doesn’t show Watson at his best, and ultimately the responsibility, and the outcome of the shot, falls on him, but this is professional sports, and he’s likely just reacting out of frustration.

While far worse has, and will, take place, the camera and microphones just happen to be on Watson here.

There’s even more good news for Watson, in that those cameras and microphones that captured his frustration are a big part of the reason he picked-up a $292,800 check for finishing fourth.

That should make him feel a little better.
