New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter became the 28th player in Major League Baseball history to collect 3,000 career hits, on Saturday.

As Bob Klapisch, of Fox Sports, points out, Jeter did it in style, homering on his 3,000th hit, and going 5-for-5 on the afternoon.
