BCS Title Game is January 9, 2012 in New Orleans

Once again this year, 35 bowl games have been certified for the 2011 season.

The bowl season will kick off Dec 17 in Albuquerque, Boise and New Orleans.

It will culminate with the BCS title game on Jan. 9 at the Louisiana Superdome.

Because Jan. 1 is on a Sunday, the traditional New Years Day games will be played on other dates.
