Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns basketball team has already had to work through some injury issues early in the season.  Now, just as they get healthy, the Cajuns are hurting again.

Coach Bob Marlin revealed on his radio show Monday night (7pm on espn1420) that guard Josh Brown injured his knee at practice Saturday and will miss 3-4 weeks.

Brown complained that his knee was hurting Saturday night.  An MRI Monday morning revealed a partial tear of the MCL.

Brown will miss 3-4 weeks because of the injury, but should be ready when the Cajuns start conference play.

The injury to Brown is the latest setback for Marlin and his staff.  Point guard Raymone Andrews missed the first three games with a shoulder injury, freshman guard/forward J. J. Thomas missed four games with mono, and senior Travis Bureau missed one and a half games because of illness.

The only game in which the Cajuns have had a full compliment of players was in last Tuesday's loss at Houston.

The Cajuns' road trip continues this week with games at McNeese State (7:00pm) Wednesday night and at Tulane (2:00) Saturday afternoon.

All Ragin' Cajuns games can be heard on espn1420 and espn1420.com
