Saints fans, Bears fans and sports betters were eager to get their eyes on today's injury/practice participation report, specifically as it pertains to New Orleans star running back Alvin Kamara.

The Saints signed RB Zach Zenner today, adding depth to a backfield they may be without their best player on Sunday.

Kamara injured his ankle in practice last week, but played in last Sunday's win at Jacksonville.

Saints head coach Sean Payton acknowledged Kamara also "tweaked his knee" against the Jags.

Will he play this Sunday against the Bears? It's hard to say this early in the week, but Kamara is listed as a DNP (did not participate) on today's report. If he remains a DNP tomorrow and Friday, it's highly likely he will miss Sunday's game.

Here's a rundown of both New Orleans' and Chicago's Wednesday injury report.
