Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was a runaway winner of the Heisman Trophy, making him the second consecutive freshman to win the award and the youngest in history.

Winston had 2,205 points to easily outdistance Alabama's A. J. McCarron (704) and Northern Illinois' Jordan Lynch (558).  However, Winston, who had a sexual assault charge against him closed with no formal charges filed, was left off 115 ballots.

It was the seventh largest margin in the history of the Heisman.

Winston threw for 3,820 yards and 38 touchdowns this season.

Winston and the Seminoles will meet Auburn for the BCS Championship January 6th.
