Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team signed three players to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

Breionne Cooper (New Orleans, La./West Jefferson HS), Alex Weeks (Opelousas, La./Beau Chene HS) and Jordan Alexander (Dallas, Texas/Skyline HS) all singed on the first day they were eligible to do so, and will be eligible to play in the 2015-2016 season.

Cooper, a 6-foot-3 post player from West Jefferson High School, averaged 13.2 points, 11.0 rebounds and 6.0 blocks during her junior campaign, as she received first team all-district and All-State Honorable Mention honors.

Weeks, a 6-foot-4 post player, is a two-time all-district selection at Beau Chene High School, where she averaged 18.9 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks a season ago.

Alexander, a 6-foot-1 forward, earned first team all-district honors at Skyline high School in Dallas, Texas, after averaging 8.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals in the 2013-2014 season.

The UL women open their 2014-2015 regular season schedule on Friday night, when they travel to Beaumont, Texas to take on Lamar.
