UL Women To Face Stetson In Second Round Of WBI

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball will play host to the Stetson Hatters on Saturday night in the second round of the Women's Basketball Invitational.

Tipoff time is scheduled for 7 o'clock at Earl K. Long Gym.

Louisiana, the defending champions in the event, advanced with a 69-54 opening round victory over Northwestern St.

The Cajuns, the top-seed in the west region, are currently 22-10 on the season, one win shy of matching their win total from a season ago.

Stetson, members of the Atlantic Sun Conference, advanced after defeating McNeese St. 89-54, in opening round play on Thursday night.

The Hatters, the 4th-seed in the west region, is bring an overall mark of 20-11 into the match-up.
