Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun women’s basketball team returns to the hardwood on Wednesday evening, when coach Garry Brodhead’s squad plays host to the Texas St. Bobcats, in Sun Belt Conference action.

Louisiana, who is currently riding a four-game win streak, is 8-4, overall, and 1-0 in Sun Belt Conference play.

The Cajuns are led by sophomore guard Keke Veal, who is averaging 11.8 points-per-game, while sophomore guard Sylvana Okde is averaging 10.7 points a contest.

For the Cajuns, who are 5-1 at home this season, the game will mark the first conference home tilt this season.

Texas St., who will come into tonight's match-up at 4-9, overall, and 1-1 in league play, is paced by senior center Ashley Ezeh, who is averaging 13.6 points-per-game.

Wednesday’s game marks the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs, with Texas St. holding a 3-2 edge. The teams last met on Nov. 12, 2006, in Austin, Texas, with Louisiana coming out on top, 59-39.

Tip-off time at the Cajundome is scheduled for 7 o’clock.
