The University of Louisiana womens basketball team pulled within four in the final minutes, but Southern University withheld the run to snag a7 5-65 victory over the Ragin Cajuns at the Mini-Dome on Tuesday eveningi nB atonRouge.
The Ragin Cajuns (1-2) dropped their second game of the season, as Southern (2-2) led by as many as 15 points in the contest. Louisiana utilized a 22-13 run to pull within four in the final minutes, but fell just short in the contest.
