Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team is up one spot, to number four, in the second college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) rankings, was released by the NCAA on Monday.

Louisiana won all three of their games last week, sweeping a three-game Sun Belt Conference series from the Troy Trojans in Troy, Alabama.

The Cajuns are currently 25-2, overall, and 7-1 in conference play.

This week, Louisiana travels to Waco, Texas on Tuesday, to take on the Baylor Bears in a non-conference doubleheader, before hosting Texas St. in a three-game league series this weekend.

The Michigan Wolverines, who are 24-3 on the season, top the RPI rankings, followed by Florida, Oregon, Louisiana, and Washington in the top five.

James Madison is ranked sixth, followed by Missouri, Alabama, Auburn, and Texas A&M at 6-10, respectively.

The second ten this week consists of Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida St., Baylor, and LSU in spots 11-15, with Arizona, South Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Minnesota in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it’s UCLA, Fresno St., South Carolina, Nebraska, and Arizona St.

In the Sun Belt Conference, Louisiana ranks first, followed by Georgia St. (45), UT-Arlington (48), Texas St. (54), South Alabama (58), Troy (62), Georgia Southern (106), ULM (168), and Appalachian St. (221).
