Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team wrapped up play on the final day of the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational. They ended the same way they began...winning. UL topped Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Stephen F. Austin on Sunday to capture the Invitational Title and remain undefeated on the season at 17-0.

A 19-1 victory over Corpus Christi and a 14-3 win against Stephen F. Austin gave the Cajuns plenty of reasons to smile (pictured left).

Five Ragin' Cajuns were honored on the Ragin' Cajun Invitational All-Tournament team for their excellent play, including two Cajuns who stood out above the rest. Junior shortstop Nerissa Myers and junior first baseman Matte Haack shared Co-MVP honors for the Invitational. Joining them on the All-tourney team were teammates Christi Orgeron, Ashley Brignac, and Brianna Cherry.

Louisiana returns to the softball diamond this Wednesday in Texas as they travel west to face Houston in a double-header starting at 4:00 p.m.
