Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team remains at number five, in the latest USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana won all three of their games last week, sweeping a three-game Sun Belt Conference series from the Georgia St. Panthers in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Cajuns are currently 32-3, overall, and 13-1 in conference play.

The Florida Gators, who are 38-3 on the season, are number one in the poll, receiving 26 of a possible 32 first place votes.

This weekend, Louisiana will travel to Gainesville, Florida for a three-game non-conference series against Florida, with a doubleheader on Saturday, and a single game on Sunday.

Michigan is ranked second this week, followed by Auburn at number three, Alabama in the four spot, and Louisiana fifth.

Oregon is ranked sixth, followed James Madison, Florida St., Washington, and Georgia at 7-10, respectively.

The second ten this week consists of LSU, Oklahoma, UCLA, Kentucky, and Tennessee in spots 11-15, with Texas A&M, Arizona, Missouri, Notre Dame, and Baylor in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it’s Minnesota, Arizona St., Fresno St., Florida Atlantic, and USF.
