Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team returns to fall action on Saturday when they play host to the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) All-Star Team in a 5 o'clock doubleheader at Lamson Park.

The twin bill will serve as Louisiana's ALS Awareness Game, honoring those affected by the disease.

The NPF team will consist of former UL players Nerissa Myers and Sarah Draheim, as well as current assistant coach Lisa Norris.
Myers, who plays for the Akron Racers, was named the NPF Offensive Player of the Year in 2014, after hitting a .365 with nine home runs and 43 runs batted in. She had a stellar career with UL, from 2010-2013, earning All-conference First Team honors in 2012 and 2013, as well as a Third Team All-American honor in 2012.

Draheim, currently a graduate student manager for the Ragin' Cajuns, was a three-time all-Sun Belt selection in addition to earning NFCA All-American and All-Region honors in 2013.

Norris, who plays for Akron, just completed her sixth season in the league.
