UL Softball Blanks Centenary, 7-0
The 18th-ranked UL softball team opened up a six-game homestand by blanking the CEntenary Ladies, 7-0, at Lamson Park, on Wednesday. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The 18th ranked Ragin' Cajuns softball team got a six-game homestand started off in fine fashion with a 7-0 win over Centenary at Lamson Park on Wednesday night.
The victory moved the Cajuns to 17-1 at Lamson Park on the year and 40-1 all-time against the Ladies including 31 straight wins.
Three different Cajuns combined for the shutout Ashley Brignac (19-3) picking up the win after starting and striking out four in three innings. Christina Hamilton threw the next two innings, giving up one hit before giving way to Shelbee Rodgers. Rodgers went on to throw two hitless innings, striking out three, to close out the Ladies.
