Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team is at number 20 in the first college softball RPI (Rating Performance Index) rankings, released by the NCAA on Monday.

Louisiana, who has won seven-consecutive games, and 14 of their last 15, currently stands at 22-6-1 on the season.

Three schools from the SEC, including Georgia, Alabama, and Florida are ranked 1-3, with Florida St. and Michigan rounding out the top five.

UCLA is at number six, followed by South Alabama, a Sun Belt Conference member South Alabama at number seven, with Arizona, Nebraska, and Baylor coming in at 8-10, respectively.

Missouri begins the second ten, with Texas A&M, Tulsa, Tennessee, and Oregon in spots 12-15.

At 16-19, it's Arizona St., Minnesota, Kentucky, and Washington, followed by Louisiana at number 20.

Auburn, Northwestern, Oklahoma, LSU, and USC Upstate round out the top 25 of the first RPI.

The respective RPI's for the eight Sun Belt Conference schools has South Alabama (7th overall) first, with Louisiana (20th overall) second, followed by WKU (67th overall), Troy (84th overall), Texas St. (96th overall), Georgia St. (97th overall), UT-Arlington (108th overall), and ULM (157th overall).
