It's looking like a dry but cool day in the Acadiana area on on Saturday, as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns play host to the Georgia St. Panthers in a key Sun Belt Conference match-up at Cajun Field.

All of the rain from earlier in the week is expected to be gone by Saturday, with cooler temperatures.

The weather experts are calling for partly cloudy skies throughout the day, with only a slim 10% chance of rain, but it may be just a little chilly, especially in the morning

Temperatures will be in the lower 40's in the morning, before warming up to right around 50 by noon, and then peaking at about 55 in the afternoon, right before kickoff, which is set for 4 o'clock.

With the time change, the sun will begin setting just after 5 o'clock, so the second half should be played with temperatures right around 50.

In other words; dress accordingly.

Georgia St. is 2-7 on the season, including a 1-4 league mark, while Louisiana will enter at 4-5, and 2-3, respectively.

You can hear all the play-by-play on ESPN 1420, espn1420.com, and the ESPN 1420 mobile app, beginning with the Tailgate Show at 2 pm.

In addition, the game can be heard on as Hot 107.9, 1079ishot.com, and the Hot 107.9 mobile app, beginning with the official pregame show at 3 pm.

The game can also be viewed on ESPN+.

Remember, it's a "blackout" game, so fans are encouraged to wear black.

Also, the Cajuns, as well as the administration, will also use Saturday's game as a platform to honor our great veterans, and those wonderful individuals serving in America's military.
