UL Basketball Hosts Rice In CollegeInsider.com Tournament – Preview

For the first time since 1985, Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team will host a postseason basketball game, when they take on the Rice Owls, tonight at the Cajundome, in the first round of the Collegeinsider.com Tournament.

The last home postseason game for Louisiana was back in March of 1985, when the Cajuns defeated Florida, 65-64, in the final game played at Blackham Coliseum.

UL is 16-15 on the season, while Rice will come in at 17-15.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
