New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell this morning to discuss his franchise's embattled offseason, this according to an report from Adam Schefter.

Benson had a desire to confront Goodell about how his Saints were punished in light of the alleged "bounty" program.

Today's meeting took place while Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma is currently waiting on a Louisiana judge's ruling in his lawsuit against the league for the punishment handed to him in light of "bounty" allegations.
