New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell this morning to discuss his franchise's embattled offseason, this according to an espn.com report from Adam Schefter.

Benson had a desire to confront Goodell about how his Saints were punished in light of the alleged "bounty" program.

Today's meeting took place while Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma is currently waiting on a Louisiana judge's ruling in his lawsuit against the league for the punishment handed to him in light of "bounty" allegations.
