Tampa Bay Rays Hang Out With A Python

This is video of members of the Tampa Bay Rays, hanging out with a 20-foot python in their clubhouse, prior to Thursday's game against the Seattle Mariners.

Rays manager Joe Maddon, who has done a few different things to loosen up the clubhouse in the past, including animal visits and live entertainment, says he found out through research that 2013 is the year of the snake on the Chinese calendar.

Well, that explains it!...and it worked!...at least yesterday, as Tampa Bay won, 7-1.
