The 2011 college football season enters week six this weekend, with a number of big games on the schedule, involving teams in the Associated Press top-25 poll. The top-ranked LSU Tigers play host to the 17th-ranked Florida Gators on Satuday, in a big SEC contest. Also in the SEC, The 15th ranked Auburn Tigers will face the Arkansas Razorbacks, who are ranked tenth this week. In The Big Ten, #14 Ne

The top-ranked LSU Tigers play host to the 17th-ranked Florida Gators, this Saturday, in Baton Rouge. That's just one of a number of great math-ups in week six of the 2011 college football season, which will also feature Auburn at Arkansas, and Oklahoma/Texas in the Red River Rivalry.

Last year, Nebraska left the Big XII to join the Big Ten, while Colorado left the Big XII to join Utah, who left the Mountain West Conference, to join the new Pac-12. Recently, Texas A&M announced they will leave the Big XII, and are expected to join the SEC, and recent reports say that Missouri may be headed from the Big XII to the SEC as well. The Big XII lost Nebraska and Colorado last year. They will lose Texas A&M next year, and there's a possibility that Oklahoma will soon follow. If the Sooners do leave, expect numerous others to follow, which would likely mean the end of the Big XII.

Besides the Cajuns heading to Kent State for a crucial game this week, there are some other games that I'll be keeping an eye on for various reasons.  I could have listed a couple more, but have capped it at five: ARIZONA AT OKLAHOMA STATE (-13.5)  ...
