Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns trailed the ULM Warhawks by 11 points with only 3:08 left in the 4th quarter. A little over 2 minutes later, they led the game by 1. A touchdown by Darryl Surgent, followed by a Green recovery of an onside kick, followed by an Alonzo Harris score, and ending with a defensive stand, the Cajuns completed a crazy comeback on Senior day to defeat the Warhawks 36-35.

For the second straight year Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns lost to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on the football field. WKU snapped an 18 game home-losing streak today with their 42-23 win over UL. Hilltopper running back Bobby Rainey scored a career-high 3 rushing touchdowns while grinding out 206 yards on the ground. With the loss, Louisiana falls to 6-2, and 4-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns won their sixth straight game today, defeating Sun Belt foe North Texas by the score of 30-10. The Cajuns 6-1 record is the best start for a team in the history of the Sun Belt conference. The win also makes the Cajun bowl eligible after only 7 weeks. Blaine Gautier threw 4 touchdown passes on 14-20 for 238 yards. Tight End LaDarius Green reeled in 2 of those scores.

Brett Baer kicked a 26 yard field goal as time expired, propelling Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns to a 37-34 victory over the FAU Owls. Blaine Gautier had another great game, throwing for 329 yards and a TD on 26-33 passing. Harry Peoples had his Cajun coming out party, as he finished with 176 yards receiving, 12 catches, and a score. The Ragin' Cajuns win streak is now at 4.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team won their Sun Belt Conference opener, defeating favorite FIU 36-31. Quarterback Blaine Gautier threw for 3 touchdowns, and finished with 307 yards of total offense. The win is the third straight for UL, and puts them at 1-0 in the SBC.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns earned their first victory of the Mark Hudspeth era Saturday night, defeating the Golden Flashes of Kent State on a rainy night in Ohio. The final score of 20-12 was hard fought by UL, as Derrick Dean, Tyrell Gaddies, Bill Bentley, Chris Tucker, Lionel Stokes, and the rest of the Ragin' Cajun defense played an incredible ballgame.
