Li Na won her first Grand Slam, capturing  the French Open title, on Saturday, reports the Associated Press, courtesy of espn.com. She defeated Francesca Schiavone in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6, to become the first player from China ever to win a Grand Slam tournament.
