The New Orleans Saints came up a half yard short of a game tying touchdown on the last play of their season opening 42-34 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Superstar quarterbacks Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers put on an offensive showcase, throwing for a combined 731 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Saints wide receiver Lance Moore has officially been ruled out of tonight's game versus the Packers with a groin injury. Kicker Garrett Hartley (hip) is also out, while WR Adrian Arrington (knee) and defensive tackle Tom Johnson (calf) are questionable. Green Bay will be without several players as well.
