“Sweet Caroline” Played At Yankee Stadium – VIEDO
“Sweet Caroline”, the Neil Diamond song that has been played in the middle of the eighth inning of every Boston Red Sox home game since 2002, was played at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night, during the New York Yankess/Arizona Diamondbacks match-up.
This could only happen in sports.
Sports divides a lot of times, bu it also brings a lot of people together, when all of a sudden, the little things don’t seem all that importnat, anymore.
Here, we have the arch-rvial of one of the most historic rivalries in all of sports, showing support for the other, after the tragic events at the Boston Marathon on Monday.
It worked too, as the Yankees defeated the Diamondbacks, 4-2.
Great job Yankees!
We’re still thinking of you Boston!
Soon, go back to hating each other, because that’s what makes sports so great.
