Fans at the Saturday night contest at Cajun Field between Louisiana and Georgia State took issue with calls from the officiating crew throughout the evening and let the officials know about their displeasure.

Monday, the Sun Belt issued a reprimand to that crew...for a call that went against Georgia State.

Toward the end of the first half, Georgia State was hit with a five yard penalty.  Because the penalty occurred against the offense in the final minute, by rule there is a ten second runoff, unless the offending team uses a time out, which Georgia State elected to do.  It should have been first and 15.  But when play resumed it was second down.

The error was verified via video and the conference acknowledged the error.
