Ten big Sun Belt Conference women’s games are on tap this week, as the league will feature five games on Thursday, and five more on Saturday.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns continue a five-game homestand on Thursday, when they play host to the Texas St. Bobcats, before entertaining the UT-Arlington Mavericks on Saturday.

Louisiana, who still has three games left on the homestand, is currently 14-3, overall, and 7-1 in league play.

That conference mark puts the Cajuns in sole possession of second place, one game behind first place Arkansas St.

Games on Thursday will feature Louisiana hosting Texas St. (5 pm), Georgia St. at Arkansas St. (5 pm), UT-Arlington at ULM (5:15 pm), Appalachian St. at Troy (5:15 pm), and Georgia Southern at Little Rock (5:15 pm).

Saturday games will feature Louisiana hosting UT-Arlington (3 pm), Texas St. at ULM (2 pm), Georgia Southern at Arkansas St. (3 pm), Georgia St. at Little Rock (4 pm), and Appalachian St. at South Alabama (5 pm).

Arkansas St. is currently atop the conference standings, at 8-0, followed by Louisiana at 7-1, Troy at 5-3, Texas St. at 4-3, Little Rock at 4-4, Georgia St, South Alabama and Georgia Southern, all at 3-5, UT-Arlington at 2-5, and Appalachian St. and ULM, who are both at 2-6.

Overall, Louisiana and Arkansas St. are both 14-3, while Troy is 10-7, and Texas St. is 9-8, making up the only four teams who are currently above the .500 mark.
