Former Ragin' Cajun forward Shawn Long is making headlines in the NBA-Developmental League, putting up huge numbers for the Delaware 87ers.

Last week he was named the NBA-DL player of the week with average of 4.5 points on and a league-leading 13.5 rebounds.

On the season, Long is averaging 19.1 points on 52.5 percent shooting and 10.3 rebounds (fourth in the league). He is 1 of only 4 players in the NBA-DL averaging a double-double.

The Philadelphia 76ers have the rights to Long who signed with Philly as an undrafted free agent. Long aspires to be called up and play in the league.
