Playing on back to back days didn't faze Serena Williams.

The five time Wimbledon Champion dropped the first set to #23 seed Victoria Azarenka Tuesday, then powered her way to a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 win.  Williams won the final four games of the second set and the first three games of the third set to take charge of the match.

Next up for Williams is #4 seed Maria Sharapova, who defeated Coco Vandeweghe 6-3, 6-7, 6-2.

Williams is 24-3 in her last 27 semifinal appearances.  She has dominated Sharapova in head to head matches, winning 17 of 19, including 16 in a row.
