The New Orleans Saints continue to tinker with their roster, releasing a defensive back.

The team on Monday waived Forrest Hightower, after the recent signing of veteran offensive tackle Bryce Harris.

The 25-year old Hightower played his college football at San Jose St., before going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Hightower then made the move to the Canadian Football League, joining the Ottawa Redblacks, helping that franchise to a Grey Cup title in 2016.

A native of Oakland, California, Hightower accumulated 48 tackles and two interceptions for the Redblacks last year.
