New Orleans Saints right tackle Charles Brown was placed on injured reserve yesterday due to a hip flexor he suffered in Sunday's loss to the St. Louis Rams. Brown had started the last 5 games at RT for the Saints in place of an injured Zach Strief. Strief strained his MCL in Week 3, but is now healthy and will return to the starting lineup this Sunday when the Saints host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

New Orleans signed veteran offensive lineman Ray Willis to take the roster spot of Brown. Willis spent six seasons with the Seattle Seahawks and started 26 games at right tackle and right guard. He hasn't played since 2009 due to a knee injury that whiped out his 2010 season. He was on the Miami Dolphins 2011 training camp roster but was cut before the regular season.
