Last Sunday's 26-23 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons was a big one for the New Orleans Saints.

The win moved the Saints to 7-3 on the year, and kept them in sole-possession of first-place in the NFC South, a game-and-a-half ahead of the Falcons, who fell to 5-4 with the loss.

A loss would have given the Saints their third-consecutive road loss, put the Falcons in first-place, and left the Saints with a bad taste in their mouths with 15 days before their next game.

Instead, the Saints have momentum, have some time to heal up, and leave them feeling pretty good about themselves.
