The New Orleans Saints were delt a bit of a blow on Thursday when it was announced that veteran wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.

This news came via NFL Insider, Ian Rapoport on Twitter Thursday:

This news will result in more responsibilities in the receiving game for Cameron Meredith and rookie Tre'Quan Smith.
