Rupp fired as Louisiana Tech basketball coach
Louisiana Tech has fired men’s basketball coach Kerry Rupp after four seasons in Ruston.
Tech won 24 games a year ago and played in the postseason, but this year the Bulldogs failed to qualify for the Western Athletic Conference basketball tournament.
Athletics Director Bruce Van de Velde said a nationwide search for a new coach would begin immediately.
