Former UL Ragin' Cajun football coach Rickey Bustle apparently has a new gig, after reportedly being named the offensive coordinator of the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

Bustle coached the Cajuns for nine seasons, guiding the Cajuns to a 38-56 record, from 2002-2010.

Last season, Bustle was the quarterbacks coach at Tulane, and former Green Wave head coach Bob Toledo.

Prior to his time at UL, Bustle was the offensive coordinator at Virginia Tech, from 1995-2001.

Bustle joins the brand new Southern Miss coaching staff of new head  coach Ellis Johnson, after former coach Larry Fedora left to take the head coaching job at North Carolina after four seasons with the Golden Eagles.

Although not yet official, the Southern Miss coaching hires were first reported by orangeandwhite.com.
