Remembering Mike Flanagan
Former Major League pitcher Mike Flanagan, who spent most of his career with the Baltimore Orioles, was found dead at his home, on Wednesday.
On Thursday his death was ruled a suicide.
Flanagan compiled a 167-143 career record, in 18 season, including a 23-9 record in 1979, when he won the American League Cy Young Award.
Peter Gammons, of MLB.com, says Flanagan was a smart player/broadcaster/executive, with a great sense of humor.
