Playing in their first home game in 16 days, the New Orleans Hornets played like a heavy road underdog to the lowly Toronto Raptors, losing 95-84. As a result, they fall to 8-27 on the year.

Marco Belinelli (pictured left) and Chris Kaman were the only positives for the fleur-de-bees. When the two were not on the floor, the Hornets were outscored by 19 points. Belinelli scored 20 on the night, while Kaman finished with another double-double (17 pts, 11 rebs).

It was a pathetic 4th quarter performance by Monty Williams' squad, who had won 4 of 6 going into the All-Star break. As they have most of this season, New Orleans put together 3 quarters of winning basketball. Unfortunately for them, it takes 4 quarters to win in the NBA.

Toronto outscored the Hornets by 18 points in the final frame. Leap year only comes along every 4 years. At one point in the 4th, it felt like 4 years before the Hornets finally made a FG. New Orleans missed 13 straight shots in the final period.

The Hornets will host the defending champion Dallas Mavericks at the Hive on Friday. Tip-off is set for 7:00.
