The LSU Tigers will be without one quarterback in 2017.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Lindsey Scott, who played his high school football at Zachary, announced his plans to transfer on Monday morning.

With Scott's departure, LSU has four scholarship quarterbacks remaining on the roster, including Danny Etling, Myles Brennan, Lowell Narcisse and Justin McMillan.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Scott led Zachary to Class 5A state championship as a senior in 2015, throwing for 3,039 yards and 33 touchdowns, while rushing for another 1,963 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Scott is the 11th player to transfer from the LSU roster since the end of last season.
