New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday re-aggravated the stress fracture in his lower right leg, the team announced today.

Holiday will be re-evaluated by the Pelicans medical staff in three weeks. No timetable for his return has been determined, meaning he's out indefinitely.

Holiday only missed 14 games in his first 4 NBA seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers.

He missed 48 games last season, his first in New Orleans, after suffering a stress fracture in his right tibia.

He's already missed 16 games this season. If he doesn't return this year, he will have played in 71 of a possible 164 games for the Pelicans.

Since Holiday's stress reaction, guard Tyreke Evans has taken over as the starting point guard.

New Orleans announced today that point guard Toney Douglas has signed another 10-day contract with the team. In 3 games with the Pelicans this year, he's averaging 9.0 points, 4.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 22.0 minutes per game.
