Pat Murphy Named New LSU Softball Coach

LSUsports.net is reporting that Pat Murphy is leaving his head coaching position at Alabama, to become the new head softball coach with the LSU Tigers.

Good hire for LSU, as Murphy took Alabama to the Women's College World Series seven times.

Former UL All-American Alyson Habetz will join Murphy, in Baton Rouge.

Murphy replaces Yvette Girouard, who retired after this past season.
