February 27, 2012 The New Orleans Hornets will extend power forward Lance Thomas a contract for the remainder of the season. After signing Thomas to two 10-day contracts, Monty Williams' squad felt it was necessary to keep him around for the second-half stretch. Big man Solomon Jones is also expected to sign a second 10-day contract with the fleur-de-bees this week.
