Cam Newton Signs With Panthers

The number one pick in the NFL draft is in the fold.

Auburn's Cam Newton agreed to a four year deal with the Carolina Panthers and the result of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement is evident in the signing.

Last year's #1 pick, Sam Bradford of the Rams, got a contract guaranteeing him 50 million dollars.

Newton didn't get half that.

NCAA Not Finished Investigating Auburn

Auburn head coach Gene Chizik thought the NCAA was finished with its investigation into his football program.

He thought wrong.

The New York Times reported that Chizik had a conversation with an NCAA enforcement official wanting to know why the organization had not announced they were finished with the investigation
